SOUTHWESTERN REMODEL
As a victim of significant home damage due to a severe weather event in the Dallas, TX, area, our client had the vision to recognize an opportunity to resolve some challenges with their existing home. The lack of a furnishable rear porch and a true primary suite were some of the primary concerns. With those challenges in mind, and in collaboration with our client, we added roughly 1500 sq. ft. of conditioned space, which included a new game/TV room, a proper mud/utility room, and a primary suite for the ages. Lastly, we included a 200 sq. ft. private balcony off the new primary suite, which completes a stunning new rear elevation vignette. The ultimate result architecturally is a masterful blend of Colonial Revival style with contemporary functionality and transitional aesthetics. More importantly, our clients now have a home that can meet their family’s needs and then some for as long as is needed.
